Dementia Action Week 2019
20th -26th May
From Monday 20 May to Sunday 26 May, it’s Dementia Action Week – a week that unites individuals, workplaces and communities to take action and improve the lives of people living with dementia.
This Dementia Action Week, the Alzheimers Society is encouraging everyone to take action by starting a conversation; whether it’s calling a relative with dementia or visiting a neighbour, it’s time to start talking. You could also come to one of our events locally to find out more if you know of a family member, friend or neighbour that is living with Dementia then why not bring them along to one of the social events.
We all have a role to play in making the UK a dementia-friendly place to live and that’s what Dementia Action Week is all about – there are actions big and small we can all do during the Week that will make your community a more inclusive place for people affected by dementia.
