Getting back together safely
We have started a gathering on a Monday Morning with social distancing and coronavirus safety measures in place to protect everyone and to combat social isolation.
To follow the government guidelines this group has a limited capacity so please do phone ahead if you would like to attend.
If there is demand we will run a second group so that everyone who wishes to attend can in a safe way.
We have a weekly programme of Monday events to start your week.
We meet to enjoy a morning of music in the new Community Room at The Angel (Bow St., Langport), gathering from 10:30am for a cup of tea or coffee, cake and a chat.
Later we move into a circle for a music session with gentle vocal warm-ups and breathing excises to prepare us to share well-known songs, rounds and action songs.
You can sing, dance, play instruments or just enjoy meeting people.
This is a gentle walking group where you can meet people, enjoy a short walk and a bit of fresh air with something tasty to eat at the end.
We meet whatever the weather and each walk will last for up to an hour with opportunities to rest or tun back at any time.
Walks begin at different meeting places. We would ask that carers accompany people who need support.
This is an informal get together to meet people, share in experiences, make friends and share information about what's going on and what support is available in the community and a range of activities to enjoy.
During term time we are delighted that pupils from High Ham Primary School join us.
